Privacy Policy

Wiser Wedding Photography is a product of WorkZerk Pty Ltd (ABN 72 163 622 508), and in this policy "we", "us", and "our" refer to that company. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Information we collect

We only collect what we need to run the site and serve you:

• Information you give us. When you use the contact form we collect your name, email address, and message. If you buy a digital product we collect the details needed to process and deliver it, such as your name, email, and billing details. If you join our mailing list we collect your email address.
• Payment information. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number; Stripe handles that directly under its own privacy terms.
• Technical information. Like most websites, our servers and security provider automatically record basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit. We use this to keep the site running, secure, and free from abuse.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies. These include security cookies set by our hosting and content-delivery provider (Cloudflare) to protect the site, and, if you sign in to the admin area, a login cookie so your session works. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy first.

How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiries and messages.
• To process, deliver, and provide support for products you buy, and to send receipts.
• With your consent, to send you marketing emails about new products, offers, and updates.
• To keep the site secure and prevent fraud or abuse.
• To meet our legal and tax obligations.

Marketing emails

We will only send you marketing emails if you have opted in. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. Opting out of marketing does not stop essential messages such as a purchase receipt or a reply to your enquiry.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the site, and only with what they need to do their job. These include Stripe (payment processing), Web3Forms (delivering contact-form messages to us), Cloudflare (hosting and security), and our email provider. Each handles your information under its own privacy terms. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Overseas storage

Some of our providers, including Stripe and Cloudflare, store or process data on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. Where information is handled overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is protected to a standard consistent with this policy.

How we protect and keep your information

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purpose we collected it, or for as long as the law requires (for example, we must keep purchase and tax records for a set period).

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and you can ask us to correct it if it is wrong or out of date. Just email us at hello@wiserphoto.com and we will help.

If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first at hello@wiserphoto.com so we can try to put it right. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top. Please check back occasionally so you are aware of any changes.
